Bundalong was originally commissioned by an Australian native, and the Yacht was named after an aboriginal word that means “Joined Together.”  The crew has taken that concept to heart and turned it into a philosophy for the yacht.  The crew and the yacht come together to provide an opportunity for your group to escape all the distractions of daily life that pull us apart.  The crew would consider it a privilege to welcome you aboard and a pleasure to provide you with the time and place to join together.

Yacht Information

A custom layout featuring hand-picked design elements made in-factory at Sunreef’s shipyard in Poland ensures she is one of a kind. The light and airy Hamptons home feel mixed with coastal blues make for an inviting and elegant interior. Four spacious cabins with ensuite heads feature spa-like waterfall showers and full-sized commodes.

With multiple wet bars, a central open-concept galley, three dining area options, and a seamless flow between the yacht’s interior and exterior spaces, Bundalong creates the perfect place for guests to be “joined together.”

More Information about Bundalong

Bundalong is a custom-built Sunreef 80 Sailing Catamaran launched in 2019 and then extensively refreshed in 2021.  At 24.4 meters (80 feet) in length, she is categorized as a sailing Super Yacht.  Her beam of 11.5 meters (38 feet) makes her incredibly stable afloat and provides 3,700+ square feet of living space on three deck levels. Each of her guest cabins has full ensuite bathrooms with rain showers.  Each cabin has a complete walk-around, floor-level queen berth with the option for a cabin with a queen bed that converts to two twin beds on demand.  She has 220v universal power outlets, 110v power outlets, USB, and wireless charging ports.

Her galley-up demonstration kitchen design, matched with her light and airy styling, embodies barefoot elegance with the feel of an upscale Hamptons beach home.  She has three distinct lounging areas and three separate dining tables.  Wet bars with refrigerators and icemakers on the main floor and the sundeck remain perpetually stocked.

For sailing enthusiasts, Bundalong boasts a suit of five sails custom designed and built for the yacht by North Sails.  Sails include Main Sail, Genoa, Gennaker, Spinnaker, and storm jib.  The mast and boom are carbon fiber with a hydraulic furling main sail coupled with a hydraulic furling Genoa and Gennaker.  With 125 feet of mast height and custom sails, she typically moves through the water at 50% of wind speed while enjoying extreme comfort underway.  Her remote yacht controller system, linked to twin John Deere diesel engines and twin bow thrusters, makes anchoring and dockage a pleasure.

Captain

BRAD WINSLET

Brad started his sailing career when he was 10 years old. He didn’t realize that this was going to be a way of life at that age but he made his way around the world sailing and working on various types of sailboats, ships, and yachts.

Growing up racing sailboats on a national level, he quickly moved up the leaderboard. He has been involved in multiple J-Boat World Championship campaigns, Olympic class Regattas and qualifiers (Laser Class), many national championships (dinghys and keelboats), offshore big boat racing (including a Traspac), but he still loves to take a sunfish out on a Sunday afternoon and sail the MiniCat Evoke off the stern of Bundalong.

JULIE VIGNEAULT

Chef Julie began her journey in the Hospitality Industry as a Flight Attendant. Over the following 10 years, she expanded her skills, working in the Food and Beverage industry as a waitress and restaurant manager.

Her passion for cooking was fortified while operating her own B and B on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Living near Quepos town, the capital of sport fishing, she fell in love with the sea while cooking on charters for professional fishing teams. Creativity is what makes Julie such a wonderful chef and host. For her, creating a mouth-watering menu is just the beginning. She offers highly attentive service to guests, a great ambiance, and has an eye for detail.

CAMERON KEEFE

Being born and raised on the Maine coast, Cameron (Cam) is no stranger to the ocean. She grew up on the salt water, exploring Casco Bay and the Downeast islands on small sailboats.

She joined the yachting industry in 2018 to pursue her love of travel and the sea. This led her to several jobs as a deckhand on board some of the world’s largest motor yachts and took her on cruises throughout South Florida, the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Central America. Cameron is excited to utilize her deck experience and her exposure to high-end yacht service to provide an upscale and fun experience for the guests on board Bundalong.
Water Sports Engineer

JEREMY PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE

After completing school in Switzerland, he attended culinary school in Ireland and when not attending to deck-side duties, he occasionally serves as guest chef aboard Bundalong. He is energetic and always ready for adventure on water or on land.

Jeremy is dedicated to keeping Bundalong in show shape at all times, and his constant smile and calm demeanor are always there to greet guests. We call him the water sports engineer because he is most comfortable in and around the water, and he is an excellent teacher for anyone looking to learn the ropes on the many water toys on board Bundalong.

The list includes individual paddleboards, a giant 8-person paddle board, 2 SeaBobs, an E-foil Lyft electric foiling surfboard, water skis, wakeboard, pull-behind inflatable tube, full snorkel gear, personal floaties, and a 4-person 14-foot MiniCat Evoke sailing catamaran. In addition, her 17-foot Williams Dieseljet 505 jet tender with a 120hp jet engine has plenty of power and capacity for water sports and comfortable transport. The cherry on top? A whole ship, 5 zone Sonos sound system, and top deck “Club Bundalong” DJ system provide the soundtrack for your time aboard.
