Discover French Polynesia

Unparalleled Charter Experiences in the Society Islands

Nature’s playground.
Lagoons, romance, sailing,
you’ll find it all in French Polynesia.

The Destination

French Polynesia is a vast area in the South Pacific Ocean midway between South America and Australia. It is a group of six archipelagos comprised of around 130 islands. Our favorite archipelago, the Society Islands, include the country’s most popular and largest island, Tahiti, her captivating little sister island, Moorea, the most famous island, Bora Bora, and a few more world class islands in between.

The sweet, warm, and relaxed hospitality of French Polynesians is simply unmatched. The sincere friendliness of the smiling locals proves that everyone is welcome here. You will quickly become accustomed to the pace of Tahitian island life. The sheer beauty of this magical place will leave you speechless. While their lively culture celebrating music and dance, contemporary art, fire ceremonies, and artistic expression of all kinds draws you in.

The best option for air travel is to fly into Faa’a International Airport, located on the main island of Tahiti. Daily international flights arrive and depart Tahiti. Air France, Air Tahiti Nui, LATAM, Air New Zealand, Air Calin, Hawaiian Airlines, French Bee and United Airlines offer regular flights. Private jets are welcome and a VIP lounge is available for these passengers upon arrival and departure.

Board Your Yacht

Board your yacht in one of the many easily accessible marinas on the main island of Tahiti, or fly a short domestic flight or a chartered plane to one of the smaller islands, depending on itinerary. We recommend a one way route from Tahiti to Bora Bora. There are many daily flights from Bora Bora back to Tahiti, which is only about 50 minutes in duration.

Best Time To Visit

The beauty of this location is that a trip can be planned basically anytime of the year. There is a likeliness of more showers between November and March and an increase in the trade winds between April and October. December and January are the most popular months to visit.

Itinerary

Day One

Start off your week of French Polynesian adventure on the big island of Tahiti. Discover black sand beaches on the East coast of the island, white sand beaches on the West coast, incredible scuba and free diving, surf spots for all abilities, and take the the views of gorgeous mountain peaks within desert lush valleys.

Day Two

Start your morning with a sail to Moorea, Tahiti’s little sister island, shaped like a heart. Enjoy a hike along the lush green paradise to one of many waterfalls in the center of the island or take a snorkel adventure to see the Tahitian coral reefs.

Day Three

Head for the island of Raiatea. Today is the longest sail between islands, so kick back and enjoy the breeze of the warm air through the sails as the yacht glides along the water. This feeling of serenity is what we crave. Raiatea is home to the mountain inspiring the movie “Moana.” Recognized as the most sacred island in the region, the name Raiatea means “faraway heaven” and “sky with soft light.”

Day Four

Discover the island of Taha’a, a lush Polynesian island featuring the best of Tahitian culture. Tour a Tahitian rum distillery, pearl farm, or vanilla farm. Sail through the turquoise waters of the lagoon to the western side of the island and swim with lemon sharks and stingrays.

Day Five

After breakfast, explore the Coral River off Taha’a. Let the current gently pull you over lively coral heads swarming with reef fish of all sizes, shapes, and colors. Sail to the dreamy island of Bora Bora. Explore the iconic Bora Bora lagoon through the late afternoon. Unwind and toast to the end of an epic day before dining at the local classic, Bloody Marys Restaurant.

Day Six

Today is yours to discover the wonders of Bora Bora – from swimming with lemon sharks, scuba diving with giant manta rays and spotted eagle rays gliding over head, to jet skiing around the beautiful lagoon, to hiking the lush central mountain, to lounging in the infamous overwater stilt – perched bungalows. The options are endless.

Day Seven

We recommend a full second day exploring Bora Bora, because it is just that good. Simply put, Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Spend the day enjoying the breathtaking views of Mount Otemanu, and carry the memories with you for years to come.
