Meet Caitie, a passionate adventurer who traded in her mundane desk job for a life of endless horizons. She hails from North Carolina, with a degree in Biomechanics from East Carolina University. Caitie embarked on a journey that redefined her career and lifestyle, leading her to the shores of St Thomas.

Inspired by the allure of the sea, she discovered her passions and honed new skills on sailing yachts. She worked as a mate, chef, and ultimately captain. Driven by her unwavering commitment to excellence, Caitie pursued her licensing and transitioned to Yacht Charter Broker. With her deep understanding of the yachting industry and an extensive network of connections, she skillfully curates bespoke experiences for clients, matching them with the perfect vessels and destinations.

Caitie’s remarkable journey from biomechanics to the open sea reflects her dedication to embracing new challenges and crafting an adventure-filled life. Her passion for creating extraordinary moments on the water shines through in every interaction, making her an invaluable asset to anyone seeking an unforgettable yachting experience. She is an associate member of the Charter Yacht Broker Association (CYBA), accredited broker with BVI Charter Yacht Society, and proud member of VIPCA.

Meet Sara, an avid traveler and expert yacht enthusiast. Sara’s roots trace back to the picturesque farmland of North Dakota. Despite the seemingly landlocked environment, she found solace and joy during summers at the family lake cabin in neighboring Minnesota. It was here that her affinity for the water took shape.

Fuelled by her passion, Sara took a leap of faith, transitioning from a land-based lover to a chef of the sea! With six years of invaluable experience cooking aboard high end yachts, she obtained knowledge only someone working in this industry could gain, first-hand experience! Sara has her yacht chef certification and spent a year honing her culinary skills in private land-based settings.

With all of this experience, Sara yearned to share her remarkable journey with others in a different capacity. She pondered how to channel her extensive knowledge and spread the joy of this extraordinary vacation to the world. The answer came in Uncharted, where Sara took on the role of a Charter Yacht Broker. Through this new venture, she could devote herself to sharing happiness and creating unforgettable memories for her clients.

Sara’s transformative journey from the farmlands to the captivating world of yachting is a testament to her unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence. Her ability to seamlessly blend her love for food and hospitality into a remarkable ambassador for the yacht experience makes her an invaluable asset for those embarking on their booking adventures. Caitie and Sara met aboard chartered sailing yachts, where they both worked delivering sensory culinary experiences as chefs. Their friendship formed and during the Quarantine era, the idea of Uncharted was born. A pandemic later, and industries at a standstill, what was once an idea turned into reality.

With years of experience under their belts, having worked alongside brokers, clients, owners, and management teams, Caitie and Sara decided to take all they had learned and put it into one carefully curated experience, incomparable to any other. Uncharted was born from the need to fill a gap in the market for accessible, luxurious sailing adventures, in the Caribbean and beyond.
