Yacht Information
Aeolus, a luxurious 2024 model Lagoon Seventy7 sailing catamaran, was meticulously designed and expertly crafted by Lagoon Catamarans in Bordeaux, France. Her maiden voyage commenced shortly after her launch at the shipyard in late 2023. She gracefully sailed across the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean under the guidance of her skilled and dependable helmsman, Captain Michael Wilson.

Aeolus offers luxury accommodation for up to eight guests. A primary stateroom featuring a king-size bed, settee, walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom with double vanity and rainfall shower, and access to the ocean from the suite. Two elegantly appointed queen cabins with ensuite bathrooms with rainfall showers. The fourth guest cabin is convertible from a king bed into two single berths for additional flexibility, and it has an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower.
The interior salon of Aeolus features an open plan with two large sofas, a coffee table, and a formal dining table. Windows surround the space, and sliding glass doors lead directly to the shaded aft deck cockpit. A forward entrance opens to the fore deck terrace.
Exterior living aboard Aeolus spans two decks and includes many options for relaxing and entertaining. The shaded aft deck has an alfresco dining area, sun pads, seating, and a wet bar. Forward of the yacht are two large trampolines where you can sunbathe, read a book, or enjoy the impressive views while underway.
The shaded upper flybridge also offers alfresco dining, comfortable lounge space, sun pads, a wet bar and barbecue grill, and an impressive 360-degree view. End your day here with sunset cocktails, sumptuous snacks, and great conversation.
SCUBA DIVING INCLUDED
Certified divers can dive up to three times throughout the charter. The captain will decide on additional dives based on the itinerary and weather conditions. Before coming to the Virgin Islands, guests interested in diving must complete a medical questionnaire and liability waiver. Additionally, certified divers must send a copy of their diver certification card before the trip.
Aeolus offers diving education, including PADI Open Water and Advanced courses. All E-Learning must be completed before the charter, and we highly recommend completing the confined water sections with a local shop before your trip. This allows you to finish the course with the open water dives and not consume too much of your week!

Payment for diving is preferable as Venmo or Cash to the Instructor. DAN diver insurance or a comparable policy is recommended.

The Layout
One king primary stateroom, two queen cabins, and one king cabin can convert into two singles. The galley is below deck, allowing for an expansive salon space.
Meet Your Crew
Michael was born and raised in Texas. He grew up loving the outdoors thanks to his dad taking him on countless hiking, canoeing, and camping adventures. He graduated from TCU with a Masters of Accounting and Bachelors in Finance and worked in Oil & Gas in Houston. After working in the corporate world for five years, he decided to make a change and enjoy the outdoors through sailing as a career! He fell in love with sailing while in the BVIs and Southern Caribbean and then completed his RYA Yachtmaster in the UK in 2018. He started off his sailing career in the Mediterranean and now calls the Caribbean home. He loves the underwater world and earned his Divemaster in Cozumel, Mexico, followed by his Instructor License in Roatan, Honduras. His favorite fish is the porcupine fish, so you will see him frantically point each one out when you go diving! When away from sailing he is exploring new parts of the world, meeting new people, and eating as many new cuisines he can find!
Born and raised in Florida, Casey has always been happiest on the water. After specializing in hospitality and event management at the University of Florida, she worked at luxury private golf resorts before transitioning into residential real estate. After years of the work grind, Casey decided adventure awaited her. She left behind the "norm" and caught the travel bug-bad! Before deciding to call the Caribbean home, she was a nomad traveling the world, experiencing the kindness of strangers, new cultures, and food!
She is a foodie through and through. Her passion for food began at a young age when she would cook and bake with her mom. She loves incorporating all different cuisines and is passionate about how food can unite people. She has been a yacht chef in the Mediterranean and Caribbean since 2019. To hone her skills, she attended Ashburton Culinary Academy in England and Superyacht Culinary Academy in South Africa.
Born in Gauteng but raised amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Western Cape, South Africa, Chene developed an early love for nature, particularly the mountains and ocean. Her father's passion for sailing ignited her own fascination with the sea, spending countless hours exploring the waters with him and his friends. Following her schooling in Cape Town, Chene moved to the coastal town of Onrus/Hermanus, diving headfirst into the vibrant hospitality industry. It was here that she found not only a career but also her life partner, Christo, who shares her deep-seated passions.
Together, Chene and Christo embarked on a new adventure in the yachting industry. Their journey has been fueled by dedication and a relentless drive to learn and excel. Today, they are committed to crafting unforgettable experiences through successful charters, showcasing their expertise and love for the maritime world.
Beyond the deck, Chene enjoys exploring new horizons, whether it's hiking along rugged trails or immersing herself in local cultures during their travels. Her blend of passion for nature and professionalism in yachting makes her a dynamic force in the industry.
Hailing from the coastal town of Hermanus, South Africa, Christo has been immersed in the wonders of nature since childhood. Surrounded by majestic mountains and dense forests on one side, and the rugged, cold ocean on the other, he developed an early love affair with the sea and its exhilarating adventures. Whether it's surfing, free diving, or spearfishing, Christo thrives in the water. After completing his schooling, Christo seized the opportunity to kickstart his career with a one-year internship at Neptune’s Divers and Cruises. His dedication and enthusiasm quickly earned him a permanent position as the sole deckhand and divemaster, a role he embraced for four rewarding years. The thrill of having his office both above and beneath the ocean sparked his passion for yachting.
Today, Christo's heart remains anchored to the sea. His love for the vast blue expanse continues to drive his commitment to yachting, where he finds joy in every moment spent amidst the ocean's beauty. His journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and deep-seated passion for maritime adventures.
