Stretching 55 feet, she offers the kind of stability and space that makes long days on the water, and even longer days beneath it, feel completely at ease. At the helm is Captain Hazel Ochoa, a Colombian-born waterman, paired with Chef Yah Yah, a culinary talent who brings farm-to-table freshness to every meal served on board. Together, this dynamic duo welcomes guests aboard for a Caribbean charter built around genuine hospitality, world-class diving, and unforgettable days on the water.

Scuba Doo offers guests four spacious ensuite queen staterooms, each with a private head and shower, designed for comfort and privacy throughout the charter. Full air conditioning runs day and night, so guests can rest easy no matter how warm the BVI sun gets outside.
Life on board is as indulgent as it is adventurous. Sip specialty espresso drinks from the onboard Jura coffee maker each morning, settle into the hammock for an afternoon in the sun, or gather the group for a karaoke night complete with dual microphones and a 4K laser projector under the stars. Every guest is treated to reef-safe sunscreen and toiletries, along with a complimentary BVI/USVI map to help track the journey along the way.
SCUBA DIVING INCLUDED
Diving isn’t an add-on aboard Scuba Doo, it’s built into the experience. With a full onboard compressor, eight dive tanks, eight BCDs and regulators, and five dive lights.
Certified divers can enjoy up to three included dives per week on charters of six nights or longer, led personally by Captain Hazel, a PADI Dive Master. Because the compressor is on board, there’s no need to interrupt the itinerary with a stop at a shoreside dive center — just jump in wherever the day takes you.
Additional dives are available for $50 per person.

The Layout
Four ensuite queen staterooms make up Scuba Doo’s accommodation, comfortably hosting up to eight guests. Each cabin offers its own private head and shower, offering a comfortable, private retreat to return to after a day of adventure on the water.
Meet Your Crew
Hazel dabbled in statistics at university, but when life threw a curveball, he returned to his seaside roots, ready to chart a new course—this time on the ocean itself. Local day charters became his launchpad, and after saving every penny he made, he jumped aboard a passing sailboat, leaving Colombia behind for Panama and the wide, wide world.
Panama offered Hazel his first taste of professional yachting, from boatyard grunt work to deckhand and chef duties. Soon enough, he earned his 200T Captain’s license in Panama—right before COVID hit. When the world paused, Hazel didn’t: instead, he joined Sea Shepherd, where he protected marine life, did scientific research, and learned to fix anything that needed fixing on a boat.
After three action-packed years of eco-adventures, Hazel returned to the Caribbean, diving into the charter world and fine-tuning his skills as a captain. And then, destiny called—he met Chef Yah Yah. The two bonded over their meticulous nature and passion for hard work. Soon, they were not only crewmates but travel buddies, visiting 12 countries in pursuit of their Yacht Master and Dive Master certifications. Now, they’re a dynamic duo on the high seas, living their ocean dream!
